It's not got the teams I exected but Arkansas & Florida made it to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Each went 7-1 in the SEC which is quite an accomplishment in this day & age. Congrats to both team.

I know that Florida is favored and higher ranked but I think that Arkansas pulls this one off. Nutt's not been at his best in big games but I've just got a feeling that he somehow gets the job done. Maybe Florida beats themselves or maybe Arkansas get lucky. Either way, I'm going with the hogs.

Yeah, that seems to have been one of the nails in the coffin that started this whole mess.

I think it will be a alright game. Not one that I am jumping up a down to see. I guess it is because Arkansas has just now really got back in the mix of things. Who would have guessed at the beginning of the season they would have been in the SEC Championship. Not me. If they had a QB worth a crap they might be in the runnings for a National Championship, but we all know that would never happen to a SEC team again without them going undefeated. I still cannot believe that Florida is ranked #4 behind USC and Michigan. I saw this stat on cold pizza the other morning. It was something like Florida has played 5 teams ranked in the top 25 in defense this year, Michigan has played like 3, and USC has played none. Florida has played the hardest schedule this year in the nation. Their only loss is to AU which was then ranked 7th I think. So if they win today they has played 3 of the top 10 teams in the nation and beat 2 of them. The only ream that USC has played in the top 10 is a VERY VERY VERY VERY OVERRATED NOTRE DAME team. So if Florida wins big tonight and if the USC/UCLA keeps on like it is going FL should get the nod for the National Championship; but they want because people outside the SEC is biased toward the SEC and like I said before " A SEC TEAM WILL NEVER PLAY FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN WITHOUT BEING UNDEFEATED".

I can't help but wonder how are season would have turned out if we had won that game...but, there's not much use in wondering over the "what ifs."

It did take a tiny little bit of sting out of our loss when they went on to beat Auburn (27-10) and Tennessee (31-14) quite handily.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, koko1. I hate that but I think you're right. The pollsters just like their undefeated teams from the weaker conferences better than they like SEC teams with 1 loss. And it's freaking impossible to get thru an SEC schedule without dropping any games.

Not only that but a already 1 loss USC team that is fixing to be trailing UCLA and really has not played a mindblowing team this year. If USC blows this game and UF wins I think they have to put them in the National Champ. game. Noone wants to see a rematch from the reg. season for the national champ. game.

Arkansas stalls out & misses a very makable field goal. Still 3-0 at the end of the 1st quarter in the SEC Championship game.

well ucla has done their part. All florida has to do is beat arkansas.
