| Re: Fire Mal Moore Moore and the boosters are responsible almost single-handledly for the well -earned reputation the Tide now has for "coaching turmoil" -- if there were some way to dramatically reduce the control that those boosters have on the football program, we need to find it YESTERDAY. And Moore has proven his lack of worth by presiding over all this turmoil, if not actually causing it. Pasty or mastermind, I say get him the h@ll out.
I hope Stoney is right, and Moore's resignation is imminent. And, as we say in Tide country, don't let the screen door hit ya in the @ss on the way out, Mal.
Now, for the boosters.... We're probably lucky that the NCAA didn't give Alabama the "death penalty" in this last round of sanctions. We don't have another chance, if there are any more violations, I think the NCAA might actually kill the program. Can you even imagine though, who in the NCAA would have that kind of chutzpah, to end the Tide? Unimaginable. Though my Georgia alum friend likes to say that to get me all riled up. Sure, he'd LOVE to see it.... But hey, let's not give the NCAA the ammo again to even consider it again. It is my understanding that some of the boosters were responsible for engineering the actions that brought on this last round of sanctions, and that one in particular in Memphis was charged with a felony(ies) in the investigation. I may be mistaken, but if there's any modicum of truth to that rumor, what say we not let them continue to run the team?
Can I get an "amen?" |
