Re: Fire Mal Moore

Moore and the boosters are responsible almost single-handledly for the well -earned reputation the Tide now has for "coaching turmoil" -- if there were some way to dramatically reduce the control that those boosters have on the football program, we need to find it YESTERDAY. And Moore has proven his lack of worth by presiding over all this turmoil, if not actually causing it. Pasty or mastermind, I say get him the h@ll out.

I hope Stoney is right, and Moore's resignation is imminent. And, as we say in Tide country, don't let the screen door hit ya in the @ss on the way out, Mal.

Now, for the boosters.... We're probably lucky that the NCAA didn't give Alabama the "death penalty" in this last round of sanctions. We don't have another chance, if there are any more violations, I think the NCAA might actually kill the program. Can you even imagine though, who in the NCAA would have that kind of chutzpah, to end the Tide? Unimaginable. Though my Georgia alum friend likes to say that to get me all riled up. Sure, he'd LOVE to see it.... But hey, let's not give the NCAA the ammo again to even consider it again. It is my understanding that some of the boosters were responsible for engineering the actions that brought on this last round of sanctions, and that one in particular in Memphis was charged with a felony(ies) in the investigation. I may be mistaken, but if there's any modicum of truth to that rumor, what say we not let them continue to run the team?
Can I get an "amen?"

Ease up on "MALpractice" he has a silver tounge when it comes to getting boosters to ante up. He is stepping down in the near future after Saban gets staffed and settled in.

Wink Re: Fire Mal Moore

If the blog that I was sent today at work is correct, Mal knew that there was someone out there for the job. It said that Saban contacted Alabama after we lost to Tennesee & told them that if the head coaching position was to come available that he wanted it. Saban proved himself at LSU & he will bring us back to the Tradition.

Don't get me wrong. I love Mike Shula & hate what they did to him, but Saban is our coach now & we need to get behind him & show him that Alabama fans are the best fans out there!!

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!

Mal Moore is a menace to Alabama football, however, he is yes man to those with the money that support many of Alabama's programs. Mal knows who to go to get a player what he needs. This is not an attractive role for an Alabama AD. I can't help but wonder how many favors the man owes ( and to whom).

Mal Moore has been responsible for coaching decisions for 8 years (at least) and he has been a loser. Mike should have stayed and Mal should have gone. Mike showed true class when our program was an embarrasement in top level college football. Mal made the poor coaching decisions and why isn't he accountable for his actions.

Mal Moore should be known as Mouse Moore.
